All I can say is Vote, Vote, Vote! The more votes we get the better the chances UAF can raise some needed funds.
ReplyDeleteI would like to congratulate UAF on how well they did initially in the Shelter Challenge. It was obvious that a rescue organization like Best Friends was going to take a big lead and will probably keep that lead. Then it was only a matter of time for rescue groups from the more populated areas of the country to gradually and continually move up the list. I give a lot of the credit for UAF's initial competitiveness to Andrea's daily reminders but even with those reminders, the quad-city area just doesn't have the population and commitment that other parts of the country do. No matter where UAF ends up, it should still be proud of being as high up on the list as it was.
ReplyDeleteWe've contacted some schools, who are asking their students to vote for UAF. If you know any teachers or students anywhere, please ask them to vote for UAF. And ask them to spread the word to all their email buddies! There's a winner every week! UAF can do this!
